Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I think we need to get a jump on this, so those people who have to plan ahead to purchase one can do so.

Let us discuss and then lockdown a pattern/design, get it priced out and ordered. Buying a knife around the winter holidays is difficult for everyone.

My vote is for a jack/mtnman/barlow-esque pattern Large (or Medium)

Stag/Bone/Burl wood

One/two blades

I would prefer Carbon blades, but an exotic SS is fine.

Awesome, I'm in!

What a beauty! Kinda sells itself!

Put my name in the hat also.

I think you have a winner. Got my attention.

Well I guess I'm in.

Personally I think that is a quite handsome knife.  The design is simple yet the red bone and the design set it apart as something very special.  I vote yes for this knife.

OMG what a purty purty,   YES  for me

Looks great, Jan.

154CPM is sweet. Half stop, integral bolsters, & custom to boot .. can't go wrong w/ that.

I like it .. I really like it !!!

Count me in.

If I didn't say this earlier, definitely put me down for one.

GUYS CAN I GET YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE?

WHAT IF I COULD OFFER YOU A CUSTOM KNIFE?

We have a member that is a knifemaker Mr. J Mutz.  He and I are talking about what we could do for the knife this year.

He is thinking we could do this knife in 154CPM, with a 1/2 stop.  It is 3 5/8 closed and the it is a Red Bone. It would be this knife with an iKC blade etch.  There would not be a shield this year.  Because this would be custom we could not order any more than 50 knives and his commitment is that he could deliver in September (maybe sooner but that a lot to get made in a short time)

Jeff mills his knives so the bolsters are integral to the body of the knife not pinned in place.  He believes I could put this knife in your hands for a rough estimate of $110.00.  So I need to hear what you think before I ask him to build a proto for us and I would like that done quickly.  PLEASE give me your thoughts

GREAT! Thanks a lot, Jan. Count me in for at least one, 2 if necessary (but I think I rather should say: if it's POSSIBLE). Not against a bail.

Of course I would be in for one of these! I am curious, though? The tang on that knife would be ripe for a special "iKC" tang stamp. Would Mr. Mutz be able to do something like that? Or, would anyone else even care to have such a tang stamp on their Club Knife? Personally, I would prefer to have an iKnife Collector tang stamp to a blade etch.

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. So, to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about, here is last year's Blade Forums Club Knife tang stamp...

This was done by Great Eastern last year for, as I mentioned above, the Blade Forums 2012 Club Knife. Whether this is something y'all would want? Or, whether it could even be done, I guess, would need to be considered and discussed. I just thought I'd mention it because I think it's a lot classier than a blade etch. But, hey! That's just my opinion. Heck, there might even be room for Jan's name somewhere down there on that humongous tang? Just sayin'...

What say y'all???

One way or another, put me down for one of these sweet lookin' custom knives! I really like the idea of tossin' one of our own a bone!

Looks good to me.
