Warning Warning this is a 20 dollar low end cheap Fake if you want one I can send you the link where you can get them.

If you want a high end clone let me know I will point you the right way.

You did the right thing that you have contacted me.

thanks patrik, then my suspisions are true, i am not in the market for fakes but thanks, i want the real deal one day though :-) but gotta get me some mid priced knives first like the para 2 and the sages

Patrik!!  Thank you for taking your time to help!

Bjorn, this is why we exist, our members are good at asking and we have so many folks willing to help them wade through the masses and end with a knife they are happy with and proud of.

Good work both of you!

Right now they are at least 7 levels of strider, hinderer, sebenza clones out there and the internet is flooded with them so you need to be very careful. If you want a real strider I do recommend yo buy it from a respectable dealer like truenorthknives or knifeart. If you want a second hand one then do to bladeforums or USN anyway I do recommend you to get one or two Striders are tough and well build knives with a excellent warranty .

Take care Bjorn.

hi patrik

striders are def on my list of knives, but money is tight and there are a few knifes fighting for it :-) got to find a US dealer that delivers to scandinavia, just saw that truenorth does so will be worth while watching them for any CRK or striders. wish the where somewear i could fondle them though so i knew if i liked them in hand, but no retailers in sweden carry them. might aswell take the leap.

thanks again for the help

There are 3 explanations why do people buy clones.

1. they don't know that it is a clone

2. they don't have or want to pay the money for the real thing

3. they want to try out the design and if they like the the overall package

There is a lot of debate if the clone traffic is bad for the makers or not.

I see it like this: if you don't know if you like the knife go and get a budget clone that is the best possible way how to find out (if you don't have any other possibilities like a friend that has it or a vendor near you)

Just for example: I did learn the expensive way that the CRK Sebenza 21 is not the right knife for me.

I really don't think that clones are taking money from the original makers pocket they are targeted primarily on those who would not buy the original anyway.

I'm not condoning the purchase of clones  but if they can help in the decision making that could lead to a purchase of the original I think it is not a bad thing so long as you are not ripped of by fakers who wont to charge you 3 or 5 times the actual price of the clone.
