Whose EDC has a serrated blade?

Does anyone EDC a serrated blade?  What do you use the serrations for?  I have a few knives with serrated blades but I bought them in spite of the serrations, not because of them.  All my using knives have straight blades.

I used to back when I carried a Spyderco many moons ago in a land far far away. Good for ripping through rope and cardboard. I got tired of it real quick. I just prefer a "plain" edge.

I like the plane edge. Never got the knack for sharpening a serrated blade or saw a need to.

My preferred carries are all plain edge.
