W.R Case

The Company heritage extends back in time to the year 1889.

when 4 brothers chose the field of cutlery.

W.R,John,Jean,Andrew started selling handcrafted knives from the back of a wagon in New York.

January 1900 these brothers became an incorporated company and formed the first FAMILY brand we know as Case Brothers Cutlery Company.

J.R. Case named the company after his father.

W.R. Case formed W.R. Case & sons

By the first decade of the 1900's the company was moved to

Bradford,Pa. where it resides today.

These 4 Case Brothers in 1905 established Their family brands as one of the most respected names in American Cutlery.

A few examples from my collection of the Heirloom years.

It is my favorite knife.  My son and daughter gave it to me as a CHRISTmas present.  Here are a couple of pictures of it.
