Thanks Ken. This is Victorian smoker's knife. It has a cigar nipper and swing-out pipe tamper. Just a few little nibbles to the mop but otherwise in good condition.

Thanks, guys! That Eye Witness really is a beautiful knife. And, trust me when I tell you, my pictures do not do it justice. Not only are the scales beautiful, so are the high polished blade, bolsters and back spring...

Okay, by now you must be completely bored with seeing this knife. But, gosh! It sure is purdy!

Alexander, those black lips of yours are beautiful! And, of course, I am referring to the ones on his knives. Not his lips, personally. lol! I also like that example of gold lip you posted. Was that one an A.G. Russell knife? 

Craig, your Case knife looks GREAT!

Those old smokers knives have held up well over the years it would appear. Cool knives, SK!

And, Robert. I can empathize. It's really hard to capture the beauty of pearl in a photo. Kind of like attempting to put lightening in a bottle. Sometimes we get lucky. But usually it just slips away from us.

This is a really cool thread. I hope that others will join in with pictures of their pearls!

Ron that Goldlip pearl is a Tim Britton knife. One of the best custom value slipjoint makers in the buisiness I think.

And don't worry about those pictures of that Taylors....you can keep posting new pictures of that thing all day long. I don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at that.

And yeah, capturing pearl is a pain in the butt. You can take 20 different shots and it'll look different in each one. And good in only 1 of them if you're unlucky.

I remember growing up, My Dad had a little pearl handled knife with his change when he emptied his pockets as he came home from work. Don't know what ever happened to that knife, wish I had it.
