Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Been thinking some of Pearl Handles lately and alot of questions come to mind

How are they made? Are there different types? What about the Smokey Pearl?

How about some pics of Pearl handled knives. I'll post some next week.

If you like Mother of Pearl knives you might like to check with Kenny Wilson at www.soonerstateknives.com.  Click on the Queen link, then click on "Pearl" knives, and also check out the "Other Queen Knives" link for more limited edition Mother of Pearl, including Black Lip and Gold Lip.

Good hunting!

In my two photos of my Queen #06L Gold Lip Pearl "Prototype", as shown above, the Pearl handle covers are actually perfectly matched.  Different light conditions when taking the pictures displays the Pearl in different ways and colors.

This beautiful knife came from the pocket of Mr. Ken Daniels, and was acquired for me by my good friend Mr. Frank Powers, of "Frank's Classic Knives".  The photos do not even begin to show its true beauty!

Dave, again...That Queen Proto is so far beyond fantastic. Words cannot describe its beauty! You, my friend, are a VERRRY LUCKY man!!!

Ken, take a look at my pix that are posted & you will find several pearls, mostly Case. Several are the Classics that I purchased from Jim Parker several years ago.

Thank you Ron.  I wish I could share the knife with you in person to appreciate its full beauty.

Your Gentleman's Barlow is truly a work of the cutler's art.  Exhibition grade Pearl, beautiful file work, a complete package of extraordinary beauty and all very tastefully done.  I think we are both very fortunate to own these treasures.

Dave, thank you! I am truly humbled by your comments. Agreed. We are both quite fortunate to own such fabulous examples of the cutler's artistic ability and craftsmanship.

Again, thank you for your comments. They mean a great deal coming from you.

Cheers, my friend!

Ron, it is said that a man is lucky in this life to have one good dog, (or in my case, cat), and one good friend.  I think perhaps we need to add, a good pocketknife, to that as well........in which case we are both a couple of very lucky guys!!

Here's to all the Very Special Pocketknives out there, and their Owners!!

Hear! Hear! I'll drink a toast to that!

Raising my glass high..."To all the Very Special Pocket Knives out there, AND their Owners!!!"

Cheers!

That is one beautiful Pearl Queen!!

Now mind you I am not easiy impressed since Larry custom makes the most beautiful knives in the world, but that is absolutely gorgeous!

Dave, that is truly a beautiful Pearl. Thanks for posting.

I am raising my coffee cup this morning in reply to that "toast" "To all the Very Special Pocket Knives out there, AND their Owners" Cheers.
