My newest stockman, a whitetail cutlery example. I think frost calls it their wrangler model.

That's what attracted me to knife, I guess it was frost's answer to rough riders long rifle series, or the other way around whichever came first.

Well, Winchester made a rifle series long before those two knife companies. There may be others also. One thing is sure though, it's a great design, [ a Rifle shield ] on most knife companies. I like them a lot also.

I like that gun shield also. Very cool. I guess when someone comes up with a good idea, others are bound to follow.

Right its kind of chicken or the egg I guess but it is such a natural combination ...Knife and Gun...I am surprised more don't offer it!

It is a good combination, those two go together.

I have this exact knife and it may be my all time favorite!

Found this one yesterday. I think it is German made. Nice horn scales and the blades appear to have little use.
