Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hey Steve,

Welcome to iKC.  I bought this knife on ebay the other day and know very little to nothing about it.  It just seemed too cheap to me:

$34 just sounded cheap.  Anything you could tell me about the knife and its value will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks for the info in advance.

HI, Vance,

could you please post a picture ? This link doesn't work from abroad; stupid eBay says :

"Unfortunately, access to this particular item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in some countries. We are blocking your viewing in an effort to prevent restricted items from being displayed. Regrettably, in some cases, we may prevent users from accessing items that are not within the scope of said restrictions because of limitations of existing technology. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you may find other items of interest on eBay."

Thanks.

UP FOR AUCTION IS A VINTAGE C.JUL.HERBERTZ ROSTFREI BOY SCOUT KNIFE WITH SHEATH. KNIFE MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 9 1/2" OVERALL AND HAS AN APPROXIMATE BLADE LENGTH OF 5 1/2". KNIFE APPEARS IN OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION BUT IS USED

Let me know if you can't see those.  Thanks.

Vance.

Vance thanks for getting those up!  Good looking knife!

Thanks a lot.

My friend, what you have--more than likely--is a replica of a German Youth knife that has had the swastika removed and replaced with a fleur-de-lis emblem that is similar to the one used by the Boy Scouts. Here are some links for your consideration:

It is still a nice knife, but this should explain why the price seemed so low.
