Hi Shaun - welcome to iKC! We're glad you're here.

That's a great question....you are talking about the S&W 1600B Extractor OTF knife, right?

I believe the "joker's knife" is the nickname given to it for it's association and use in the 2008 movie The Dark Knight.

To help you get a broader visibility to your question and possibly some sound responses, may I suggest you post your question along with a short brief of your knife on this thread:

https://iknifecollector.com/group/odds-ends/forum/topics/for-those-...

It's a dedicated  spot here on iKC to address exactly what you are seeking to know. You'll want to post a few photos of your knife - open, closed, front, back, etc. You'll want to include a shot of the box (shows condition) as well. The brief is merely some basic info about the knife, such as when you purchased it, new or used, what you know to be true about the knife, etc.

All of that sort of data helps the S&W collectors here get a feel for your knife specifically and will be in a better position to assist you in your quest. Otherwise it'll be a SWAG (scientific wild ass guess) at best.

If you do not know much about it yourself, that's OK too! I myself have a rather large S&W collection - but all are fixed blade hunters and game knives - no folders or OTF's.

Specific to your knife, here is a fantastic 12 minute review on You Tube of the S&W 1600B by one of my favorite reviewers - thenextarcher. This was posted about 4 years ago, but is still relevant today. The downside of his reviews, however, is a boatload of commercials. Echkt!

If you do not know much about your knife, this is a great review to learn some good facts about it.

I hope this helps you...
