"This looks to be a Western W-49 Bowie.. The larger of the W-49 and W-47.. The W-47 is referred to as the Small Bowie..It was produced in much less quanties than the W-49. The W-49 usually is in the $125-$150 price range while the W-47 is in the $300…"

"The Puma White Hunter has been the classic. Linder makes the Trapper which is basically the same.. Both are really nice German Made knives.. It's a tossup as to whether I keep this one or sell. You could not even to believe how clean and tight…"

I collect knives to mostly resell at gun and knife shows. I am in my 60's. I really enjoy my knives and look forward to meeting others with similar interests in knives.
Interests
Since I'm retired, about all the activity I get anymore is setting up,trading, buying and selling knives at the shows.
Other Hobbies
I have played a lot of chess in past yrs. Not that active now but still love the game.

Well, the Dalton show is a 4 hour drive, for us, so it's a much anticipated trip.  Don't have too many, nearby, so once a year we tend to get spring fever.

hey coulnt get the message,i have several case knives in the boxs you may be intersted in,i am trying to find a queen or s&m 99 single spear with ebony covers,had one packed it about 6 months and let a friend talk me out of it a couple weeks ago,now i miss it something awful,see if you can find me one i will take a used one as long as its not beat up to bad,thanks   ..steve
