"Since I'm here, I'll put up this Case 337 as well. I had to do a little bit of tip work on it so I'd like to get $225 out of it. If anyone thinks I'm crazy (besides my wife) let me know. "

"Thank you . Unfortunately I'll probably have to take these to a local shop and try to consign them. Not much traction here. I'll leave these pics up in my post for anyone who likes the military knives to see. Maybe I'll try to post a…"

I don't see much current selling activity on here so not sure how this will work, but......I have many US military knives I need to sell. I don't want my wife to have to deal with these after I am gone, so want to be proactive here and see if there is any interest in any of my Mk2's, Quartermasters, or JPSK's. I can post pics and info if anyone is interested. Thanks. See More

"These use a one piece pommel with a 3/32" half pin. Handle design is stacked leather with 18 ridges. Otherwise, nearly identical to the Cattaraugus 225"

"OH!  I was not aware of those.  I will have to do more research on them.  Did Case use the same buttcap design as Cattaraugus?  If I did not know better, I would have guessed those were made by Cattaraugus.  LOL! Were those…"

"Looks good Kevin.  I have a few that I was able to just clean up. I usually find the ones that are ready for the crap can to restore as these are more affordable to feed this habit."

About Me
Started restoring US military knives after finding an M3 at a garage sale. Very relaxing hobby. I have spent most of my life in the maintenance field. Retired now.
Interests
Aside from why I am on here, I enjoy my family time. I changed my profile pic to my bi-black sheltie as I am / have been training him to be a gold finder. This dog finds minute metallic items on a regular basis.
Other Hobbies
-Hobby welding, had a small shop at one time but know just my garage and some retirement equipment.
-Reloading for the calibers I shoot.

Welcome, Marty B!  Take a look around the groups, browse the photos, ask questions, or even answer them -- it seems you might have the experience to add to the depths of knowledge on this sight!  And of course, plenty of room for firearms enthusiasts here as well.  Good to have you here!
