My knives might be getting sold at an actual store!

A while back I made a knife with damascus and Camel bone scales. It ended up pretty nice but I'd made some misstakes that made that I figured it wasn't good enough to be sold anytime soon.

(this one)

So I carried it as a personal EDC for a while. And I quite enjoyed it. So one day I showed it to a friend of mine (a very good friend) and he really liked it. So I gave it to him as an early birthday present.

Well, he was really excited about it and he's been showing it to all sorts of people all week. And today, he showed it to a customer of his (he's owns security systems company) who runs a sports, hunting and weapons shop. The guy was excited and told my friend that it'd be ok if I try to sell my knives through his store.

So for me this is a big thing and I'm really excited. Now I'm going to have to start thinking about presentation boxes and a nice warrantee certificate and such!!

And tomorrow me and my friend are going by to talk to the guy. I know it might be small beans for some but I'm really excited and I thought I'd share this news with you all.

Regards

Alexander

Oh and Robert, I'll have a look at the knifemakers blog. Where can I find that one?

Thank you all. I went by there last saturday and had a quick talk with him. He basically told me that I'm more than welcome to use his store as a front and we'll talk percentages when I have something ready to sell.

So I'm going to get off my ass and finish some of the (close to 10) projects I'm working on and see what I can get him to try and sell.

Doesn't sound like small beans to me! Sounds like big giant beans to me! That's great! I know if that happened to me I'd be running around telling everyone I came across until they decided to have me locked up! I'm honestly very happy for you!!!!!
