hello john, hope you are well.  thought I would drop back in for awhile.  glad I did.

John, thanks for the birthday wishes!  It was a pretty great day -- I took the day off of work, & I even bought a knife at a local outdoors retailer (Midwest Mountaineering).  It was only a Mora Companion in stainless, & I paid way too much for it -- but still, it was only $20, & in support of a local business -- & it was a new knife on my birthday!
