Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Here we go again, the first photo shows just what arrived today, but there are more coming, (egads!!). Two Buck #112 Slim Selects, (in different colors so I can color coordinate. Doesn't everybody do that?), a new Buck offering, a #891 Spear Point fixed blade with 5160 Spring Steel blade coated with ceramic Cerakote for durability and rust prevention, and comes with hand stitched tactical sheath. I don't usually buy fixed blades, but I have been more and more interested in them lately. I especially wanted to have a 5160 bladed knife, and this one with ceramic coating convinced me to get this one. I also got another #302 Solitaire, which has become my newest favorite knife for EDC. Then of course I had to have a US-made Schrade LB7, just because I didn't have one yet, now I do.

I also have a very rare version of a Buck #319 Rancher coming that was supposed to arrive today, but instead I got a really nice #321 Bird Knife, I bet the guy who bought the #321 got my #319, so some details need to be worked out to get that situated. This was an AAPK purchase, so I guess we just wait and see. Cheers, stay tuned!

Thanks, dead_left_knife_guy, I like it too. I have photos of all of my knives, not only for posting here and other places, but for a "book" for my daughter and grandson so they know what the hell to do with all of them after my departure. I don't want them to just sell them without some way to know how to sell them and where to sell them, (and I want him to keep any of them he wants), but I want whatever money made from them to go into my grandson's college fund. Several are family knives, I want him to keep those no matter what, so I need to let him know in writing and photos which ones tare which, and explain the family history attached to them. The Buck collection alone, if sold as a complete 300 Series collection, should bring in good money so this is my way to leave something of value to my daughter and grandson.

Syd, I am really fawning over that 891...!

And I'm not even going to say what I've purchased recently. Nope, not going to go there.  Except that I really need to get to taking some photos of knives -- knives I didn't have the last time I did a photo shoot (which was admittedly several months ago now, but still).

But like I said, not going to go there...  ;)
