Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I just recently purchased this Boker. I've collected Case but never boker. I like the history of the Company, it's longevity, and the quality of many of their knives. However, I do prefer my collection to consist knives made of natural material, handle-wise, bones, horn... This knife was listed as "Bone Handles", and the shield is pre the current Boker Tree Brand. Also, the master blade "Boker"stamp isn't common to today as well as the Tree logo on the reverse of the master. I'm not sure about the handles? Big question in my mind... Delrin or Bone? Can't determine...

I've probably posted this in the wrong location. Not familiar with the website yet... If so, please direct me where to post. I'm browsing around...

OK Tim, we have you moved to the right spot and pics moved ! We will see what John finds on this one or any of our other Boker Collectors.

Thanks. I'll browse around more and figure things out. Again. Thanks.

Thats a good find Ron! I love that blog!

Yep. I tried to find the handle material, some that Boker used, and came up with a buffalo horn, a type of water buffalo. It was mostly black or very dark in color. Nice to know it's vintage, or appears to be.
Don't see it. Doesn't appear too. Liner is brass.
Material is really hard. Not like delrin used on a schrade.
Actually the two front pins do come through the brass liner.
Pins go through. The front two are the only two I can see. The faint circle in brass. Same color as liner.
