In looking through my collection, I find that I have knives from seven countries.  Is this typical or are most collectors more focused than me?

China

USA

Pakistan

Germany

Italy

Japan

Switzerland

About 2/3 of my knives are from Germany and all those are Boker. Next most numerous in my collection are also Boker, but Japan or Taiwan made.

My interests then broadened and now, if not from those three countries, the rest are from the U.S.A.

Oh, I guess I have a few made in China.

95% of my collection is Damascus steel blade knives.

But my focus remains on Boker Brand, Solingen Germany made.

It just seems that when collecting for a while and when knives of particular interest become scarce, my collecting has expanded to other interesting knives. But I do focus on just 7 knife brands or makers.

So, I am focused, sort of.
