We are Okay. The worst has not gotten to us yet. Lucky enough, we are on the good side of the storm, so for. The eye should get to us around 1 A.M. tonight. The poor people in the southeastern Louisiana are really having it bad. Some of the southeastern Parishes are flooded. Plaquemines Parish has a large part under 10 to 12 feet of water. People are having to be rescued from the tops of their houses. I live in southcentral Louisiana and we have been luck so far. We also live on alot higher ground than some people. Please pray for those people that may loose everything they own, to the flood. Bless ya'll.

Thanks ya'll, it's getting worst all the time but we are well prepared. Yes Mam, those girls are close to me and are staying with me. Prayers will help the ones in harms way. We must all stick together as an American people, some have tornados, some have wild fires, some have hurricanes, some have floods, some with earth quakes, some with droughts and all sorts of other cataclysms. Help if you can or send aid.

Recently we learned of the passing of one of our long time members, Mike Lind. He was a friend to many here, a supporter of iKC and a member since 2009. Our condolences and prayers for his family and specifically his wife Carol.

Just got word today that my wife has endometrial hyperplasia precancerous cells and has to have a hysterectomy. I would greatly appreciate any and all prayers.
I could not exist without the love of my life. We are MUCH more than husband and wife. She is my best friend, and we are the epitome of "soul mates". We are 63 years old and have been together since we were 15 years old! We have rarely been apart, and now remember little of our life without each other. We share EVERYTHING together. She is my rock.
