Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Howdy Boys,
Been a tad remiss on checking in here -that time of year for me.  But I got an email from iKnife / Miss Ruth this AM.  She seems very anxious to be my friend for vague reasons, And it seems that I need to send her my email and contact info.
Anyone else had such an invite?  If so, I suspect some kind'a fraud.  Heads up knifers!
Bill

Good heavens I've stirred up a hornet's nest. I have to admit -that just for a second- maybe some woman liked my picture. Probably tells you more about my pitiful love life than it sez about Ruth. (I have evidently reached that age. Now when the girl & the boy do the mushy stuff, I change the channel. Reminds me of 'bout a million years ago when I was a kid and had no interest in the mushy stuff. Kind'a come full circle. But there were no remotes back then.) But I do go on.

Have to hand it to Gerald Hines for trying to protect us old-farts from evil wimenz!

Comes to mind a chain letter that went around many MANY years before the internet was even a gleam in Al Gore's eyes. Someone (I presume a woman) sent around a chain letter instruction the recipient to put her husband in a box and send him to the name on the top of the list. She was then to delete the top name, add her own to the bottom of the list, and mail it off to 5 other women w/ in 3 days. Then she had only to wait for a couple of weeks and she wound find her mail box filled with 125 boxes, each containing one husband. One of them was bound to be better then the one she shipped off.
Hrumph, Wives...

Already said in some other post, that I wanted to be buried with my EDC Seahorse whittler, but me and the Mrs was sitting at the breakfast table, the other day, and I told her that when I was gone I wanted her to sell-off all my knives.
She asked me why, and I told her that I didn't want some @$$#0!* to have my stuff.

She said that she didn't intend on marrying another @$$#0!*.
Hi folks, I just joined this a.m. Miss Ruth has now changed her name to Miss Kate. I just got an e-mail from her. I need all the friends I can get, but...
yup, I just got the same one, id katedesmond same email.
Reckon she just throws out a 1000 hooks and waits to see which one catches a fish? The whole picture thing IS tempting bait. LOL!
I met Ruth once - she was sitting at the bar whittling a piece of wood with that look in her eye.......I ran like hell.
Hello.
My Name is Anita i saw your profile today........:). well, they said 3 times is luck.....:D
Well it ppears that ruth may not want to be my new friend but Anita wants to! I may be wrong but it appears that we may have another mass emailing freindly gal pal out there. Simular email chain letter. beware! I think all she wants is to introduce me to an excellant opportunity in East Africa where I invest just 20.00 and I can claim the rights to a 2 million dollar inheritance. What's everyone think? should I email her back? I could use the money!

P.S. Anita if you are a real person and just wanted to be my freind, ignore the previous section. My bad.
Aw take a chance John.
