John, I cant believe you spend 10 hours prepping a field for them but dont watch the game!  I am sure they do appreciate that it takes longer and I would like to see them play!

Well I know nothing about American Football except how to mark out a field which I do about six times a year for Shropshire Revolution our local team.  There are about half a dozen teams in the UK though I guess they would look poor to you guys. I wish I could say that I had seen them play but alas I haven't made it to a game yet. About ten hours work to mark their field I would be happier if they would play our version of football instead ,I can do one of those in two hours.

The world cup is over, BUT FOOTBALL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER .I love a good soccer game, but nothing compares to US football.

Went to a Reds/Diamondbacks game today. Had great seats. But we lost 4-5. Had a great time, wish we would have won.

College Football underway. Its half time Saturday: Michigan up and Navy up and how about this - North Dakota State ahead of Iowa St 17-14. Go North Dakota.

MLB: Cinn Reds lost to Pirates last night 2-1. Hope they win today.

and the Gator play tonight!   SEC ALL THE WAY!!

Here is the question: Can anybody beat UK in basketball????

I don't have a particular team that I support Leo but I have enjoyed watching United often over the years , mostly on TV the price of tickets is silly these days . When I was a lad I could afford to go to football games and mostly went to Burnley which was the nearest first division team then , before the Premier League this was in the 60's. I went when United or one of the other big teams were playing . Man United were very good back then with George Best the most wonderful footballer .

Since then I liked United in particular when Eric Cantona was their best player ,a very charismatic character..

The only sport that I am really keen on is Cricket , I love to watch old video's of teams like the West Indies from the 80's, I imagine most folks from the US will have no idea what I am talking about here but just in case here is a link to one I watched last night

I am waiting to get instructions to mark out the field for the local American Football team it's a job I usually do for them in March. I have been a full time sports marker for the last thirteen years ,since I got to old for forestry work. It is strange marking out a field for a game that you have never even seen. I did wait up once to watch the Super Bowl on tv , have I got the right name there ?  It didn't start till midnight here and there were so many advert breaks that I got fed up and went to bed .

Yes Mr Rooney has grown up a lot I guess £200,000 a week has helped !!

I like anesthetists Leo , pain is something I do not take pleasure in .

I will look up Fargo on Google Earth and check out were you are , sounds like somewhere I would have seen on western movies. I grew up on John Wayne films as I guess most people of my generation did.

Where would we fit in sports car racing? Naturally! 12 Hrs. of Sebring just ended. Chevy won a second time after 50 years.

Montana beat North Dakota St the other day - Llantz, what happened?

Gators Play New Mexico this weekend

I was on a trip once and this guy was wearing an OSU hat, I told him it stood for Ohio State U and he corrected me and said it was Oklahoma State U. Everytime I saw him I said aloud Ohio State University. It kinda made him mad but he was smiling.
