Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Hi everyone and welcome to our newest members,

Something we have not talked about lately is new aquisitions.  Tell us about your latest and greatest GEC.  Donnie bought me both the new 23's in the Beavertail (Worlds greatest husband by the way)  He got himself the newest 73 in Primitive bone.  THAT is a heck of a nice knife.

What have you gotten lately?

Fantastic looking knife, Jan.

Jan,

Great looking deluxe congress! Very clean and classy! I like the way GEC serialized these on the tangs instead of the bolsters but didn't like the cost difference between the serialized and the non-serialized knives. I think that the cost difference should be $10-$15 at most. Awesome knife though. I'd like to see them do a full congress with these bolsters but mix up the blade types as we have discussed before.

I see GEC has started work on the new "Roughneck" knife. It ought to be a handfull when finished. The knife I am waiting to see is their two "Mouisouri" knives. [Sorry about the spelling] . I wish they would give out the size of the knives. I have been hoping for a large "Clip point" knife from them for a long time.

Oh, Miss Jan, I almost forgot, I love your Ivory GEC. I think you have chosen a great pattern, "real fancy".

The pictures and info I have gotten so for about the new #23 Missouri, there is no change from a regular #23. I don't understand, the new Missouri was to be a lockback or at least have a main clip point blade. What gives? I hope I'm wrong and they have produced the knives they spoke of.

The Missouri is going to be a lockback pattern knife and a folder.

Same frame, different name.

It's kind of like the #73 and #72, frame is very much a like, but also different.

Well Johnny, where's it at, They sho nuff hiding dat ting? lol

Johnny, their coming out with the #23 patterns and still, "No Show". I don't understand, where is the "Missouri" knives?

Okay, I finally got the word on the "Missouri" knives. They will be out by the end of May or the begining of June. I guess ya'll have figured out that I am interested in the Missouri knives.

Well it sounds like they are coming out just in time for the Blade Show Robert.  Maybe I can get my hands on one to take good pics and describe it for you

Yes Mam, I have been waiting for that clip point, lockback for two years. I bought the #72 in genuine stag at that time and thought the #23 would come out soon. Well I had to wait a little while. I wish I knew what the handles were gonna be made out of. I plan this to be a user, so you see I plan on having fun with it. I think we could make it a Blade show special, I want the best one they have over there. You better tell them, I've been loyal, waiting on that clip point..lol
