Benchmade uses six lobe, torx-like headed screws exclusively throughout the assembly of our knives. This engineered screw style offers a more "controllable" means of achieving tightness.

Occasionally you may want to adjust blade tension, remove the carry-clip or simply tighten any loosened screws, so now we offer the The Bluebox™ for those purposes.

Kit includes bit sizes 6, 7, 8, 10, 15, one phillips head bit and bit holder/extension all self-contained in a molded plastic case which doubles as the handle. Features removable plastic carry-clip on case.
As a fan of JT's videos, I can tell you that his "Benchmade BM9810 Bluebox Pocket Tool set is enlightening. Though I have used Benchmade knives for years, I only picked up the Blue Box this past year. It is invaluable. My particular Bluebox has 6 bits; two T-6, T-8 and T-10 bit sizes and the bit holder/extension. For folding knife owners, this little batch of tools makes maintaining your blades just a bit easier.
