Are the handles made with Olive wood?

Sure do look like it Tom:

Love it!!

Have to love a wood handle for sure!

It is aromatic juniper wood, as said in the paper inside the box.

It's a handsome knife either way!

Beautiful knife.

I think this is Olive Wood since the wood looks like the Evergreen Series of knives. That series was limited to 500 of each model with only 250 to be available in the US and the others to be sold in Europe. These were serialized so there should be a number on the them. They came out in 2012, I think.

Boker has been known to not number some of their serialized knives, so cannot be sure. Often limited series knives never make it to the US market.

This looks like you have a real collector's piece.

Those are certainly some great looking Bokers!

That is certainly quite the pair!  Art - That is some wonderful info on the knives, Thank you

Thanks all of you, actually I see both knives have serial number marked on another side of the blades. I love these 2 very sharp knives with light weight.

When you where in Germany what knives did you see for sale?  Mostly there countries brand?  I worked with some engineers from Germany that lived not far from the boker plant.  Neither one of them had heard of Boker??  I was stunned, they both carried knives from Finland, they said most Germans preferred Finnish  or Swedish knives, I was heart broken for sure, here I was buying everyone I could find around here and they had never even heard of them.  Guess it might be a grass is greener deal I don't know!!
