LOL,

It's another one that I wouldn't think of rehandleing unless I had to Robert.  Everytime I use one of these I have fond memories of his grandmother and the stories she would tell me about the farm and the family when he was young.  I love my knives but I cherish these

PriceLess!
Nice Patina on that GEC and that is a good looking Case also

Thanks Jan, that little GEC is a great knife.

I was helping my brother, and uncle, repair an old drainage system for my grandparents. It took a while to get everything dig up, so we worked until dark. At last we had everything in place, so we tried to feed the pipe in, unfortunately the pipe was about 2'' too long, so instead of going to the truck and grabbing the pipe cutter, I pulled out my little #25. I zipped right through the PVC pipe and we had the job done, my uncle looked at me and said, "That knife is d$#mn sharp". I was a really proud GEC owner. That edge had been one I used many times before that, so when it slid through the PVC I was pretty impressed myself.

We need to have a patina contest, to see who has a knife with the best one.
That would be fun Robert
Hey, we could get you, Miss Dellana and maybe one other lady to be the judges.
That sounds like a great plan

I've been using this #53 Furtaker for that past week and I have really enjoyed it. I did some food prep the other day so I got a really good patina going. And who knew that Water mellon left a patina on a carbon blade?

Once I really get a good, grey patina going I'll get new pics.
