Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I looked all through the Discussions on the Case Collectors Group and couldn't find a thread for the razors, so I thought I'd start one.

So PLEASE, feel free to share some pictures of your Case Razors...new and/or old.

Heres a 2024 case razor that I've knocked the black synthetic handles off of and dressed in blue and white cross cut mammoth tusk.  I also fileworked the blade and back spring and worked the bolsters a bit.

Modified another for Christmas.  Used a set of classic hunter green Christmas tree jigged bone handles, lasered Merry Christmas on the blade and added some filework and nuggets to the bolsters.

Set of giraffe bone razors heading to North Carolina this afternoon.

Latest of my bench.  What started as a yellow synthetic 2 blade was transformed into a single blade mammoth tusk with filework and stipling.  This was put together to go with a 2 blade I worked up for a fella earlier this year.  I was able to use 1 set of handles for both knives so they matched up pretty well.

Latest razor outta my shop.  Purple maple burl handles.

Nice work Andy!

I enjoy seeing your work.  thank you!

Thanks Kevin.

Super pretty custom work on this 1 arm man pattern.  The what I would call Arrow head Bolster is a great addition.

Thanks Mike.  It just came to me while I was working it up.  Most folks don't state specifics on bolster work, so I try to change it up sometimes and, voila !

Andy I notice Custom Bolster Engraving. Especially when I like a pattern . Even if I don't own Any!   Just my personal opinion!  I do like the boldster engraving more so than the file workrd Back springs or Blades.I have a couple of Case Factory Filding Hunters in my collection .  But I would believe it takes more skill on the Back springs, &  Blades than the Bolsters.   It is amazing what can be done when an Artisan applys his kniowledge & Skill to metal or other surfaces.   Myself I don't have the patients or skill to take a knife apart and rework it like these have been done. All are super nice examples of the pattern.  CONGRATS !
