Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE natural handle materials. And I prefer natural handle materials. But why is it I like Case's basic jigged brown delrin so much? Maybe because the second Case knife I ever owned was a jigged brown delrin Eisenhower back in the 1970's? I don't know, but I think the good ole' jigged brown delrin needs to be given due respect!

At the moment this is the only one I have, but I will be getting a 33 Small Stockman in it this month.

Bone is king with me, but I do have a soft spot for the jigged brown delrin.

This one is definitely old.

I think it depends on who is doing the Jigging.  I have some Camillus and Remington knives that look stellar. Then again a Couple of my new Bear MGC -- not so much.

Well I know there never going to be worth much but I like them. I'm not sure how many I have but I have a bunch.

I'm with you Paul, I think bone is my number one handle material overall, but for a basic plastic handle material I think Case's good ole' brown delrin is great. Plus like I said, I think I have a soft spot in my heart for Case brown delrin because of an old love. LOL!

It's something that's simple as well as classic.  Makes for a good EDC/user.

Craig, one of the nicest knives I own is an old Saw-cut Brown Delrin Robeson Barlow...

So, I think you and I are on the same page as far as our attraction to a nicely done Delrin handled knife -- Regardless of the manufacturer or how they chose to give a handle some traction. Heck! How about some of those old Schrade Uncle Henry knives with their jigged Delrin handles? Not too shabby, either!

Like some of the others have already posted, I prefer natural materials, myself. But there are some outstanding examples of Delrin that have been done right over the years. Your Case and my Robeson are obviously two such examples.

I need to get a delrin 44 like yours Steve.

You're so right Ron! That's a mighty fine Robeson all dressed up in his brown suit! :)
