This just showed up. case xx key lime set for sale
I have some great pics from the Pres Day at SMKW, working on going through them and will post today or tomorrow. We had a great time and my grandson got to even do a drawing for the first give away!
I am looking for a Case Hawkbill yellow & green handles with turkey tracks on them. Also has a turkey scene on the blade, anyone have one for sale?
John, I keep all the boxes to the ones I collect. But if I buy in a clam pack, I intend on using it.
I like Jungle J's If you don't see it online ,ask! They just might have it!
You guy's are guilting me out for not stopping in on my local Authorized Case Dealer recently. Jungle J is only about 5 miles away. It's run by some of his kids now but still has an amazing selection. I last bought a Case Scout knife in mammoth from them to give to a friend's son when he got his Eagle Scout badge. Thought I had a picture but can't seem to find it now.
One of the problems with dealer being called "Authorized Case Dealer" is, there are different levels of "Authorized Case Dealer". If I remember the base "Authorized Case Dealer" can have just a few knives in stock after the first big order. I can't remember all the titles, but there's Platinum dealers, Master dealers, Exclusive Master dealers, etc, etc.
All/most of the dealers I do business with on the internet have HUGE selections. Waiting for a box is like Christmas to me! LOL! And some of the dealers will hand pick for you! I have a couple that I've done a ton of business with and they'll search through all their stock to find what I'm looking for. But not all dealers will do that.
Also some online dealers will get in some new/old stock which is nice.
Big deal, blister packed. No box, into the pocket it goes.
I came across this video, yesterday, and thought it was hilarious until I realized this guy was serious.
I don't think that I'm buying a collector knife when I buy one from a hardware store or a big box like Lowes.
My very first Seahorse cane from Lowe's and the much touted box went into the trash.
I think that many Ace Hardware stores carry a small stock of CASE knives. Hardware store up the road, couple towns away, has more than the supposed dealer.
Toby is probably right in saying that folks don't go there to buy knives, but on the rare instance that you really need a working knife I'd like to be able to think I could find one there.
