oh-while speaking of CASE..i gotta say they really are one of the most freindly knife companies i have ever dealt with. i have never written a complaint and only have written them about information. whats great is instead of an email. they always send out packets with my question answered!.. i asked them when i join the CCC jan 1st ..as im going to do it at the start of the year so i always know my date easily.

anyway i just askd them this tiime what the newsletter they send out looks like..i would have been fine with PDF. i get another one of their awesome envelopes all hand written which i love.. and inside 2 of the CASE COLLECTOR ..those are neat!.. as well as a GIANT CASE XX sticker and a booklet that i heav never seen beforre..love those... has on the back the CASE CAR with giant fixed blade.also some CASSE PLASTCI WALLET cards i would call them.that have tons of cae info on them like tang stamps and dates and such..for quick info like at shows and all!~-- anyway again THANX CASE ... as of jan 1st 2014  you will see me in the CCC..  WOULD LOVE TE HERE FROM SOME CURRENT MEMBERs!!! THANX FELLAZ AND LADIES of IKC!!!

personally some of the best hobo knives are the BSA  sets..their are 2 kinds and speaking of striclty use here ..although i find fun in collecting them. here and their the BSA markings -

AMYWAY- before i rattle on about the collecting..

PURE USE-these are the sets that are either in a pouch of 3. all 3 pieces are connected by a piece in the center.my 5 yr old could easily use it with no help at all. most of these sets i believe were made by IMPERIAL.the pieces all seperate.are almost the regular length of a full dinnwer set.but since are stacked on each other during carry take up the room of one single knife.a family of 4 would have it much easier with 4 sets of these on a picnic then anything else.and their fun!

also another set..that im lookin at right now ..i went and grabbed it..again i have seen them in both types of sheaths. anyway this set is awesome ,made by imperial and is marked on the spoon "STAINLESS STEEL USA" the knife and fork both are folders with the fork also having a bottle opener intergrated!{so your set!} anyway you im sure have seen these sets. they are knife, spoon and fork at the end ,lined up from left to right in that order. they are meant to go on your belt. oh and this set is aso stamped IMPERIAL on both the knife and forks tang.  OH AND SNAPPY!

both of these sets are great and dont cost much at all.

AND A HUGE THANK YOU AS I WAS JUST DIGGING FOR THIS SET I FOUND MY 7RD old SONS WALLET!!!.. lost 2 months ago now FOUND!!..THANK YOU SO MUCH!... IKC -you have made my night!

Hey Tom please don't eat and drive with plastic ware or a hobo knife. Why would you go through the drive thru and worry wether they added plastic ware so you'll carry your hobo in the glove box. So instead just park and go inside and tell them what they forgot and get an extra set and put it next to that walmart piece now you can invite a guest hey Toby.

It's only a matter of time before I buy a Hobo.  I will get zytel when I do because it will be a pure user.

I have about 5 Case Hobos the older fork and knifeones and one amber bone with spoon have a old Colonial, and also the one I like the best is the all Titanium Knives of Alaska Hobo, but tommorow I am going to hit WalMarts and pick up one of thoes Ozarks at 5.00 I will throw in in the Glove compartment so next time I go through the drive throw and they dont put any silver Plactic Ware in my sack I will be able to eat my food LOL

LOL!  OK, I have to admit all I do with my Hobo's is look at them.  Donnie does have one he takes on the annual fishing trip, says it is perfect for getting Vienna sausage out of the can

There you go again, Craig.  I was just about to put my Rosewood Hobo in the ole ALCE pack when you start talkin about looks.  I guess I will have to get the Zytel one and leave the Rosewood one in the display.
