That's a pretty Trapper! I always liked the old timey lettering on the handles.
Those saw cuts are really fantastic.
Great pictures of a handsome knife! Congrats!
Very nice Jean
Hi folks, look at my new Case XX Rancher Series Trapper, CV, with gorgeous sawcut amber bone handles:
Case Trapper - Rancher CV Series.
6254 pattern. 4 1/8" closed.
Chrome vanadium carbon steel clip and spey blades.
Sawcut amber bone handles
with special engraved markings
and nickel silver bolsters.
I'm carrying my Tiny Trapper in my coin pocket, so the Gent will be for bigger blade jobs.
Now you have me thinking about barehead vs non-barehead more. Hmmm.......
Originally I was drawn to the barehead models, but I've found the capped models to feel better overall in my hand.
I had a red bone Gent, but traded it away. Gotta have a smaller secondary on my EDC knives.
That's a pretty one Jan!
7 or 8? Geez Paul, I have one! LOL! I really need to get a Gent for carry and collection.
Gotta couple of those Bermuda greens.
