Anyone familiar with these? Do they come with the "Corelon" etch like the ones I see at SMKW? I don't like that etch.

It indeed was too bad, yet it cleaned up nice. You need to check it out with a magnifying glass to realize it was repaired. (I'm ethical.  I not going to  try to sell it!)

Too bad that scale is busted

Case XX USA era (before dots) 6207 Mini Trapper.  When I received it (along with about fifty other knives) it was rusted shut.   Took a while to loosen the blades enough to get them open.  As photo shows, the back scale was broken.   Some TLC, Coon-P and gentle rust removal got the blades operational.  The handle was another problem.   A little dental resin, and some hand jigging and dying brought the knife back to a decent quality EDC.

Front side after clean up

Back side broken scale

Back side, scale repaired

Bob, put a speaker under her pillow and at night run a recording that repeats "I can't live without knives....." Then after a couple of weeks she'll WANT you to buy knives.....or she'll kill you.....either way you'll be out of your misery.

Thank goodness my wife likes my knives! And, gives me suggestions on what to get next! And, buys some for me! LOL!

Skipping lunch, loose change from the dryer, change back at the grocery store, etc.  It all adds up.  I use the same money to buy my wife things.  As long as it doesn't disrupt the budget, there really isn't a room to complain, especially when she  suddenly asks for a $100 for an unexpected emergency and the money is there for it.

If she go out for lunch with the girls, I can buy knives!

Ron...

You need to start the old "Rat Hole" money account.  Yes...hide money from the wife.  Sell stuff you don't want on eBay or to people you meet at the barber shop.  It works.  "This old knife...why do you ask?"  LOL!
