At least it wasn't my addled pea brain! But, I thought I saw one that displayed more than three? Maybe not....maybe my addled brain is adding that part.

It was SMKW's, Craig, I was looking into it myself. I think it holds 3knives.

If I remember, Smokey Mountain Knife Works sells a display case made just for Trappers. At least I THOUGHT it was SMKW.....maybe it was somewhere else. Geez, I forget where I saw it, BUT, I KNOW I saw it!

Hi all,

Can anybody recommend a good way to display Case trappers? I'm trying to decide between the countertop display and the wooden case with grid. If you recommend the grid, which one should fit trapper and other larger folding knives.

Thanks!

Paul

One thing I like about Case......they have a good selection of smaller knives!

Some people, like me, like a smaller knife, and some people can only carry a smaller knife out of their house because of stupid knife laws.

Queen was well known for using a lot of Winterbottom back in the day.

The other company was the "Rogers Manufacturing Company"

Bernard Levine - "...the firm started in business in 1891, making manufactured bone products, and also bone fertilizer."

Didn't Case recently make some in "Rogers Bone"? Or was it Queen?

Apparently back in the day, there were numerous companies that provided knife scales to cutlery makers.  One of those companies was the Winterbottom Bone Company.  This was the style jigging the company used on their bone.  They also mentioned another bone jig pattern that was named after a company but I don't recall who it was.

Toby, I didn't hear, I may not have been paying attention. Why did they call it that?  Craig, Bill, thanks. Bill, I figured you added one to your Hawkbill collection. I think this is one of the nicer colors and textures that Case has had out in a while. I really like the Case Stag knives, but don't like spending that much just to have them.

Great looking Moose, Billy.  I really like the texture and color of the handles,  and I picked up a hawkbill in the Sunset winterbone.  Nice addition to your collection!
