Jack if it's going to be a user just a light coat of oil on the blades. If it's a collector Ren wax will help protect it.

All of my Case knives are stainless steel.  I am wondering what  I will need to do if a purchase a case CV knife

That was an interesting video, Jan. I'm seriously thinking of making something similar out of old milk jugs, pvc pipe and duct tape!
