Paul you will have to sell it as repaired by factory...but if you pay for the repair you will be way in too deep. Just my opinion after 25 years of getting burned on occasion.

YES! You will have to sell this knife as used and in good condition. You should expect to get about $45. I would return it or use it for an EDC. Sorry for the bad news. I love the Trapper design too.

Paul the repair dept. and arrange to send it back for repair. They will fix it.

Hello all,

I just purchased a nice looking trapper knife (with prime stag handles) that is supposed to be in "new" condition, but there are blade rubs on the clip blade, right were the etching pattern is, and am debating a return. I know rubs are fairly common, but how much do they detract from the actual value of the knife? If I decide to sell this sometime down the road, would it be a major contention?

A friend of the Harvey Family did it for the show

Donnie saw the mermaid series at Harveys but I did not yet.  I will check it out on Friday :).  That one looks nice
