I want one Steve, great looking knife.
Thanks, Ken. I'll be selling it for what I paid for it ($71.95 + $4.32 PA tax = $76.27 + shipping, since I don't collect Trappers. I don't belong to the Trapper forum so someone who does can re-post this Trapper there. If more than, possibly, Craig is interested in it, I'll put names in a hat.
Very nice looking Trapper Howard
Just got back from vacation last night. Picked up this 125th Trapper at the Case Visitors Center. They told me that this Trapper in natural bone will be sold only at the Visitors Center, and is a limited production (40), but isn't numbered. That seems too low a run, but that's what they said. I picked it up in case there are some Trapper collectors who might like to have it (full size - 54 pattern).
I should have mentioned that there are six patterns in the Lion's Paw;
Peanut
Sway Back Gent
Mini Trapper
Desk Knife
Small Texas Toothpick
Medium Stockman
New exotic coming out -
Exotic Lion's Paw
"W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company announces our latest Exotic release – Lion’s Paw. The Orange Lion’s Paw Scallop sea shell comes from the Gulf side of the Baja Peninsula, where it is found at a depth of around 100 feet. The exterior of the shell resembles the knobby knuckles of a lion’s paw. Stunning shades of orange, white and purple accented with Jet, Nickel Silver and Genuine Mother-of-Pearl."
