I picked this up  at the pawn shop for cheap the other day- Thought it would make a nice whittlin' knife after a little TLC-  Turned out pretty nice, I think-

Lookin' good John!

I think it will make a wonderful whittlin knife and cleaned up very well!

Great clean up job John! Nice knife.

Great restore job. A little elbow grease?

Thanks Robert- Some OOPS! multii-purpose remover for the gunk- Then some multi- fine abrasives-1200 grit working up to 12,000 grit- Takes off the rust and tarnish, not the steel- Then a bit of Flitz polish - Works on both the metal and the handle material- And a bit of oiling--

Real nice job, John! That was a good find.

what did you use to clean this with. I have one or two that I cant seem to get clean and would love to try it.

Nice find.
