NEWs FROM TUNA

Now, a new chapter has begun for Ryan and Courtney Daniels.  "Daniels Family Knife Brands" is offering the exiting new Excelsior Knife Company line of knives directly crafted by the knife makers that also design them.

They also are continuing the very popular Tuna Valley Cutlery Co. knife brand, marketed towards the contemporary collector.

Thanks to everyone for all their support over the years, and we hope to talk with you in person at one of the many knife shows we attend throughout the year! We have many projects on the horizon, and hope you check here often to see what is coming next.

Just sitting here, enjoying the morning, drinking a cup of good strong coffee, listening to Emmylou and Willie . . . and picturing in my mind's eye the Osieau Ivory . . . I can see them now . . . ahhhhh

Donnie is actually carrying one of the Tuna Moose's (meeses???)  I am going to let him use it for a awhile and then get him to review it for us.  So far all I know is...."man I love this knife"

Courtney, you're very welcome! And, my complimentary words are well deserved. In fact, my first reaction to the picture Jan posted the other night of herself, Ken and you was "Wow!" in reaction to how great you looked, knowing you had just had the baby a few months ago. Most moms would be very jealous! Give Ryan an elbow and let him know what a lucky guy he is, will ya.

Good luck in your first half marathon! What do they say about the Journey of 1000 miles? It begins with that first step -- So, you GO, girl!

Ron Cooper, thank you for those kind words! I love to workout so it did not take me long to want to get back into shape. I actually signed up for my first half marathon and I'm training for it now. Race is not until May though.

Jan, would the plural of Moose be Meese?

Don't matter what you call 'em -- they're real beauties!

Courtney, you sure bounced back quick after having your 2nd child. You look amazing! Thanks for checking in with us.

Cheers to you and Ryan!

Made it back home from the Dalton show. Enjoyed seeing all the knife folks again and getting some quality time with my daughter that also attend. Can not beat a weekend with family, friends, a room full of knives, a hotel pool and one of my favorite restaurants Red Lobster.

Clint,

It was good to see the Daniels and spend time with them.  Riley is such an energetic ball of fun and you wont meet a nicer lady than Courtney Daniels.  I love that the Daniels family is all about our young folks and bringing them into our wonderful hobby
