Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I am honored to say that Great Eastern Cutlery has decided to allow me the opportunity to write a book about the history of the Northfield Knife Company, the Tidioute Cutlery Company (1909-1916) and the Great Eastern Cutlery Company. This new book will feature some great old photo's, and a comprehensive listing of GEC's products and production. GEC has taken the knife world by storm and I am thrilled to be working with Ryan Daniels, Ken Daniels, and Bill Howard to produce this historical reference book for those that love both old and new knives.

So, if you have anything of any materials on the above mentioned items that you think may be of interest, please contact me and we maybe can include them as well. This is VERY exciting and should be a wonderful addition to your knife library. Please pass the word. I can see that my winter will be spent on intensive research. I can't wait to get started.

David,

Are you looking for the older models or 2006 to now?
I am looking for GEC made knives, I would like photo's of collections.
Something like this? Whether it is good or not I don't know. Any suggestions to make the picture better would be appreciated. Some of the reflections are distracting. It is the smallest picture my camera would take for ease of emailing & viewing.

GREAT, send me a high resolution copy to my email address.

Putting togeather the collection for pics. At the latest I will have them to you this wekkend. Expecting 2 more and want to get them in also. Picked up 2 interesting peices at the show, a Tidioute razor and a tidioute 2 blade 6229. They are both between the years 1909 and 1916. Will get those pictures ready also. How high a resolution do you need them to be?
at least 300 dpi, can't wait to see the old girls as well. Thanks gang. I think I have enough after these come. Look forward to the book this summer if all goes well.
