#25 Blood Red Sawcut

Cranberry TC

Tim,

WOW!  I love the coloring and although my favorite bone is smooth, a well done sawcut comes in a very very close second

GEC did do a great job on this sawcut. Pile side is actually a little darker which I like :)

#62 Courthouse Whittler in Ebony. Fit & finish on this one is amazing.

gec boys knife single spear nail nick, love the 15 patterens

that is one of the lightest colors ,i think i have seen, love it

Took me a while to find one of these Dusk Jigged Chapman's.

My EDC roll of GEC's. The 25 jack w/ the black finish, the 72 clip and the 48 get the most pocket time but the 12, 73, 23 and 62 get some too. I tend to carry more than one so when I carry the 23 I have to go light w/ the others.

Those old Northwood's are nice, and the 62 whittler. I never see any of the 62 whittlers in that Garnet Red ever posted.

I wish that I'd gotten on board with the Northwood Scagel's by GEC a little earlier. They seemed pricey at the time, lol, but not by today's stds. I've got maybe 3-4 of the 62's but this is the only EDC one. I don't know when the last 62 run was as I've been on a knife buying sabbatical for about 5 yrs+. Forgot the name of the "black finish" on the 25 - called New Aged at the time. Oops, I guess I shouldn't have EDC'd that one oh well...

I only carry my two GEC shop "S" model #43s in Frontier bone and Orange camel bone knives.  I got so many knives.  I am using the Boker/Buck/S&M lock-backs more often these days..  I have one arm , I need something that opens fast.  The Boker web-sight states that ,"auto knives" are legal in S.C.  I have asked cops about switch blades.  Every one told me ,"no!".  Legal or not , I don't need the hassle.  CaseXX just came out with the 4" closed "Kick-start" clip blade hunter.  I like the curly-wood SS Kick-start knife.  Thinking about that one on  next month's purchase. I have to carry more than one knife, so I get my moneys worth.  I am always looking for the right GEC lock-back.  I always end up buying Boker or S&M lock-backs at great prices on EBAY.  NEW GEC #99s SS are coming out soon, but I am not crazy about the scale choices.  GEC knife collecting is a head-ache and a hassle these days.  I love GEC knives , but I hate the company.  I want to support American knife companies and American jobs.  I got 7 GEC knives that I bought this year.  I am in 24/7 chronic pain and my patience runs thin.  Planning to buy a Trestle Pine and at least two S&M knives in November.  Looking forward to next Friiday, "monthly knife day".  Searching everyday for cool knives, "Lets see how it rolls !"  "BUY AMERICAN OR STARVE !"
