Thanks Jan and Tim! Kenneth, I totally get it. As for me, my knife budget has to be carefully regulated or I'll go hog wild and over order. I tend to buy a couple of patterns I really enjoy repeatedly, but I'm always looking for something different. The #23 is one of my favorites. That Allegheny Mountain knife is gorgeous!

I love my #97 Allegheny maroon knife.  I did think hard about the DLT maroon #62.  I decided to save money for the #23 Trappers coming up.  I have two #23 club knives paid for.

This is the #62 Maroon Micarta I ordered. The Micarta is so tight it almost looks like wood. There's a small dimple on the left side of the shield, I looked at other Micartas on other sites and it looks like it's normal. Love the knife!
