More clamping, I am finding it is more manageable doing 5 washers at a time.

Harden the pommel because the claim is to be able to use it as a hammer.

I know I wanted to keep this original but after I soldered the guard that was a wash so I decided to try bluing salts, I am still waiting for a thermocouple so I can measure the temp decided to do it anyway, I think it was too hot.

Thanks Jan,

I have several ideas for treating the leather handle once it's all shaped up, I'm thinking maybe hot wax, clear lacquer or maybe oil it down.

I am really not sure what the best method would be.

Any ideas would be great.
