Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

I was thinking we could have a IKC fishing contest for this spring and summer for our members. I know, you are probably saying how can we weigh fish and with different types of fish north and south east and west, well how can it be done.  Easy, It would not be the biggest but the Best Fishing Picture of one of our members for this fishing season. Yea, who has a great picture with them or their childern and of course a Fish. We could have a judge pick the best picture of the contest. The winner would get a knife of course. Please let me know if ya'll would be interested in it. I think it would be alot of fun. Lets talk the idea up and see what comes of it.

This up and coming season for next year, or the one that passed Robert?

I like this idea Robert!  Sounds like a lot of fun

So Robert that sound like a great Idea, This pix of course is a old one but is this  what you had in mind. Trout season opens last weekend of April in the Sierras and I'm in.

Terry won, I quit!!!!!

How can you beat that???

I gotta admit Terry's will be hard to beat.  Let's see if any of us can come close

As much fun it is to catch the bigger trout, the back country lakes that have the Brookies in them are so much more rewarding. There not big 8 to 12 inches but the are fun to catch. Myself and some buddies caught these from a lake outside of Yosemite  around 11000 ft. It's nice  have a lake all to yourself

Alright Guys and Gals we'll have a little photo fishing contest. Let me make up some guide lines and we'll get started. I think this will be fun.

Terry,

That looks like the perfect dinner to me!

Fly and traditional tackle?

I think a photo contest should be any and all types of tacle and fish. The best picture of all will win.

Whats the time frame? Trout season for me which is about all I fish for  is Last weekend in April until mid Nov. I agree with Robert all types tackle and fish.

I think to be fair to everyone with different seasons all over the world, we'll make it for the entire year of 2012. People can post as many pictures as they like about fishing. The winner will be picked not for having the most fish but the best fish related picture of the year. I'll try and find three judges and maybe have more than one winner. I will get the contest a little more organized as we go along. If you can help please do.
