The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
I will be going next week to the factory to work at station to station to get a better handle of the manufacturing end of business. I am a salesman and marketing strategist so I haven't had the opportunity to grasp the concept of the entire manufacturer process start to finish. I will be posting my adventure on here daily. So please check this discussion every day for pictures and updates.

Excellent Pics Ryan! Thanks for sharing that. Did you work on any knives today? Are you going to be able to do any hands on?
Looks terrific, Ryan. I really would love to see that in person, but seeing it here means a lot!

It is so exciting for you to bring us on this trip Ryan. I love that it makes you feel like a kid on a new Knife adventure with your Dad again, nothing beats re living that feeling!
Well sorry I didn't have a update for yesterday but my hotels internet was down. So I will put two days worth today.
Tuesday was my first day on the floor where I started in the first station the Press Room. We have a few small press's used for liners, bolsters, shields, & stamping the tangs. Then theres a huge power hammer press for cutting the blades out of sheets of steel.
Love the pictures! Love seeing the machinery!
Love the pics Ryan, are you learning lots?
