Good stuff from the good people at Spyderco.  Patrik as you know, Spyderco makes a great product.  If you ever come to the States you will have to go to their headquarters in Golden, Colorado in the Denver area.

Thanks, Brad! I found it!

And, speaking of beautiful -- I scored another Western Bowie on Sunday night. It should be here by Friday. Obviously I do agree with you, Re: What is considered beautiful. I think I am addicted to those W49's?

Ron, I started a discussion here about the Szabo folder. It has more views and angles of the knife and all the Spyderco info within:

The "Cube/Check" pattern Carbon fiber scale is one of my favorite features of this knife. It lends itself to be carried in polite society, if I were still in uniform and 15 years younger, an aggressive G10 handle would be required. But not at a retail price over $300.

But, like I told Ron once about a couple knives he compared together, "Beauty is in the eye the beholder". I think this knife is gorgeous.

The Laci Szabo it is amazing but the carbon fiber laminated scale is just horrible this is in no way shape o form a tactical scale I don't understand why they could not used just simple G10  like on the military this remains a big mystery for me. Maybe I will get this knife but only with a custom scale job on it. Anyway I hope you will enjoy it Brad.

Wow, Brad! Even better! What a beast of a knife at 10.25" OAL and weighing almost 7 oz. Whoa! Beautiful carbon fiber!

What are you initial impressions? I know our Brazilian friend, Cesar, would love this knife. It's a true fighting knife. And it's wicked awesome!

Congratulations, Brad! You've gotta love that salesman, eh!

Well I didn't get the Hungarian from my Steel salesman. What he brought was humongous. Laci Szabo folder.

I would go so far that in some view points the Byrd knife have even better design features like the finger cut out at the blade start if you know the delica or endura they don't have it but the byrd Meadowlark and byrd Cara Cara has.  The other strong point Spyderco dos not offer the delica or endura in G10 why ? in past there was a sprint run but today if you want one they go for like 130-160 on the secondary market. If you look at the byrd offering they have every model in FRN, SS and also G10 why is this so hard ? This are just some point that speak for the byrd series. If you like question the Spyderco product line marketing than they should be a question if they have a full low budget line up why they introduced a slightly more expensive Tenacious Line up. One answer of many could be that spydeco want to make happy everybody and so they want to offer you a knife in all price ranges for all budgets and user applications.
