As always, prevention is the best medicine.

Well that is true. I don't know what prompted me stumbling across this, but in looking at some survival blog this topic appeared. The answers as I said were not for the squeamish.  But it is something that folks responded to, so I thought perhaps it is something we should consider as we post things here. I debated it a bit but I suppose it somewhat falls under general practice, broken arms or legs or any kind of fracture. In the event of a major disaster, you have to be prepared.

While prevention is awesome and necessary.  Regrettably nutrition has a whole lot to do with dental health as we get older.  I always have ambesol when we travel so that would help temporarily and I do not know of a way to numb the area if you have to pull a tooth.  I do know drinking alcohol and honey are good for keeping infections at a minumum
