Thanks guys for your comments - I will let my Dad know that you highly approve! And I'll say that rubbing my belly too Ron!
I'll let you know how the ribs looked and tasted after we used it...as wellas the sausage, of course!
like the looks of that gerber boot knife lars
dandy looking skinner for your dad lars. grrrrreat damuscus!
Lars, I looked at that knife and thought, "Boy, that's a belly that I can relate to!" As I gave my own a pat. lol
That's a beaut! And I'll bet your dad loves it!
OK...it's been a few days...just keeping it alive! Here is my favorite for today - its a little nessmuk style skinner I had made for Dad. I'm traveling to Tucson to visit my folks for a week - there's always BBQ going and fresh sausage to make in a Polish household. Preparing the meat is always half the fun - and this little baby will do just fine! (I know 'cause I had to field test it first!)
And since it's been a few days since John posted his, it's time for another favorite. My favorite for today is my first love...and as they say, you'll never forget your first. ironically, it's also keeping in the theme of my last few posts....the boot knife!
May I present to you my 1978 Gerber MK 1....
John - I whole heartily agree...these are fantastic! Thank for sharing your fav's with us.
