A BIGGER BOX is the solution to all of our problems!
Great collection Tobias
Frank, a great icon. That shows true dedication to duty, and respect for the ones who gave their lives. Its "Semper Fidelis" - Always Faithful.
I was asked about my icon. It is the tomb of the unknown--in the hurricane--the guys REFUSED to leave, even when asked to just short of a direct order.
You guys make some great points, and there would be some discretion, of course. Having been a boy scout, selling to raise money and working to make something better for the community--then being a leader for many years--your words are exactly right. Once in a while some knife might appear (or some other equipment) that a leader might find appropriate, some things needing his training/ guidance--maybe for a Paul Bunyon training award. I was SO proud of a jungle hammock for selling the most (I believe it was seeds) that I still have it (almost 60 yrs later). Those of you that have used these when really necessary are going to have individual thoughts on this one, but here's mine.
Believe it or not, the Boy Scout Store sell quite a few big folders including some big folders made by Kershaw. They do have a 5 1/2 inch lockback as well as 4 1/2 inch Tanto linerlock I've also seen larger folders for sell in the store.
On the subject of "what to do with old knives in a box that I don;t know what to do with":
If you have no use for them, donate them to a Boy Scout troop, where respect and safety will be taught, and they could be used to reward some boy's special contribution or achievement.
Just an idea
Real funny, I agree. I saw that game live, years ago.....lol
