Case xx Handbook Illustrated knife pattern Guide.
From SMKW. I added this to my reference library for the 1990's through 2030 indentification of tang stamps.Case has had so many during this time frame it some times can get confusing to Old knifers. It also has the various names of blades, Handles types, & numbering of Factory knives. Many Pictures/Diagrams of patterns. Sort of Pricy but everything in these days. It is always good to have resource Materials to make sure because not knowing can cost you Hundreds of Dollars! Those Old Price Guides and advrtising can save your some $$$$. JMO

I think I will start a photo album showing what books I have in my library. If nothing else it will possibly start some conversations or even a research request. If I'm going to have them, then I might as well use them!  Not a new idea, but I appreciate the inspriation Mike to get off my bum and do something about it!

Nice book.  I picked one up when they came out earlier this year.  There will be another one released as well, but not sure on timing.  Not anytime soon is what Case told us.

LOL one of these days i am going to have to take pictures of my megar knife reference library. Honestly this book was purhased to keep me up to date on Tang Stamps!  Old age does have its draw backs.  I guess the Oldest reference book I have is the White Bible, By Mr. Ferguson.   I also have some by Mr Parker and Voyles and Mr. Sargent. Knife & Razors Premium guide.  As you say some of them are pretty costly. One of those is  Best in the long Haul Case Classic Book as well  as the updates to pricing and the Old Parker KCS catalogs.  I could probably buy a nice knife with all the dollars i have in the few Reference books.  They have saved me from many bad buys on freebay over the years!  I have learned that if it isn't listed in any of my reference material it probably wasn't made in a factory.

Oh sweet deal! Many a reference book are as valuable and pricy as the knife itself - so this too is a great investment.

So...what are your 2025 "look this up for me please" rates? (Tee Hee). That's how you get your ROI on your book fee....

Good job on that Mike -
