The online community of knife collectors, A Knife Family Forged in Steel
Today's Mail Call. I did not know, before I made the deal with the seller, what the tang stamp showed. So when it arrived in the mail today, it clearly shows it has a 2008 BCCI tang stamp, and it is clearly a Yellowhorse Chip Flint blade. However, someone might be able to help me with the "X" marks and the "S" mark on the tang stamp. Usually an "X" on the tang stamp means a knife that has been sent back to Buck for repair? The knife is in Excellent condition although it does appear to have been sharpened. Still, it arrived shaving sharp.
