A ,,, Kershaw " Ricochet " 1520ST Serrated Version " Random Task " assisted open,, Mint in Box and Complete! This one is one of the very first Ken Onion designed knives that came out around 1998. This one is the Patent Pending knife and features a Special Safe torsion bar mechanism for assisted opening! The knife sold for $175 back in 1998 and you will be hard pressed to find another New Old Stock Mint and Complete Package being offered in todays market! The Random Task was voted Blade Magazines 1998 "American Made Knife of the Year ". It was discontinued late 1999 to early 2000. This Jewell of a knife measures 4 1/2" closed and has a 3 1/4" CPM- 440V Stainless Steel Blade and Titanium Liners. Also has Polished G10 Handles with lanyard hole and pocket clip for tip down carry. The Polished G10 handles on this one has some gorgeous grain,, just could not capture in my pics! The " Drop Point " blade is stamped: KERSHAW, KEN ONION USA with the reverse stamped: 1520ST CPM 440V, PATENT PENDING Additional Info: The Random Tasks were all shaped and polished by hand, false edges were ground by hand .They sold very well but Kershaw discontinued making them because they were so time consuming to make. The parts once ground are not interchangeable so all the sets had to stay together. It was a very labor intensive project. Bottom line,,, This is a very high quality knife !!!!! this knife made by ken onion was made by hand this is a video for the kershaw 1510 the same knife but non serrated
