This is the Rapier Bowie by Ash Blades. Stretching the design boundaries of a functional Bowie, this knife actually serves as a great slicing knife on the holiday roast, garnering “oooh’s” and “ahhh’s” from everyone at the table.

The Rapier Bowie is a full tang knife that features a needlepoint blade with a long straight cutting edge and a full length swedge. The handle is dyed green densified wood with brass pins and a brass guard. Although billed as a hunting / sport knife, its design relegates it more to table cutlery or as a Designer Art knife.

To date I have not seen another one like it. More the pity, as I would have loved to see this knife offered with bone, horn, or olive wood scales.
