This is the Meru Bowie by Ash Blades, so named after the wilderness surrounding Mount Meru in Tanzania, Africa. Sharing the same frame as the Trapper Bowie, the Meru features a modern recurve clip point blade with a 90 degree spine, a mixed medium handle of Cape buffalo horn and Walnut, and a brass cross guard and pommel cap. Although exotic to look at, the simplicity of this knife makes it a great general purpose knife suitable for hunting, camping, and bushcraft.
